Yoga Nidra is a restorative sleep-based meditation that combines the unique art of establishing alert awareness and deep relaxation simultaneously. Yoga Nidra induces slower brainwave frequency and takes you beyond ordinary waking consciousness, to experience the Self beyond body and mind.
Techniques such as guided relaxation, breath-work, witnessing thoughts and feelings without comment or judgement, affirmations and intentions (Sankalpa) are practiced to systematically bring you into this state. Once this space is entered you are able to disengage from your self-image, fears, expectations and anticipations and experience a deep transformation from within.
